Hand Build – Beginners

Students who are new to ceramics or have very little experience should attend our program classes marked Beginners or All Levels.
In the beginner classes, students are all at the same level, while in the all levels classes, beginners and slightly more experienced students participate simultaneously.
In both classes, beginners have the same curriculum, which consists of three introductory cycles.
In the first cycle, students learn the basic practical preparations and processing of clay. They experiment by making utilitarian or decorative utensils with the coil technique, while practicing the use of colour and the methods of decorating clay.
The second ceramics cycle focuses on the slab technique, through which students expand the means at their disposal and a series of ceramic objects.
In the third cycle of ceramics, students, now with greater autonomy, perfect their skills through the examination in the pinching technique, thus completing their knowledge of the basic techniques of handmade ceramics.
Students can be integrated into classes throughout the year, as long as there is availability in the classes. Each student follows the programme in their own pace.

Taster	30€	Construction lesson. First contact with the material. If the lessons do not continue, the item constructed remains incomplete.
Double	60€	One construction lesson and one decorative lesson that must be completed within thirty days. After the second lesson, it takes 2 weeks for the student to receive their creation.
Monthly	90€	Within a period of 30 days, the student can take 4 courses. They choose the class they want to join and attend classes weekly.
Quarterly	250€	Within a period of 90 days, the student can take 12 lessons. They choose the class they want to join and attend classes weekly.
Yearly	700€	During the academic year, the student can take 36 courses. They choose the class they want to join and attend classes weekly.
